A: Whenever you upload an image to your blog, Google automatically creates a Picasa Web Album for you. You must leave these albums alone, even when you do not recall making them or whether the albums contain 0 photos.
If you delete a Picasa Web Album, the corresponding photos will disappear from your blog, not immediately; but within 24 hours. In fact you should have seen a warning message when you were trying to delete this album.
