Blogspot user interface is not very intuitive or clear. There are a number of situations where what should be the obvious thing to do, is not the right thing to do.
Here I have some answers which I post recently on Blogger user help forum. I have answers for only the more basic, first time user problems. Please post questions on more complex problems on the forum and wait for answers from our Blog*stars.

Post title box gone
Q: Where has the title box gone?
Go to settings, formatting, scroll down. Select "yes" for "show title field".Save settings.
